14 Oct A Few Tips For A Gorge Christmas
Christmas is coming and we’re very excited at The Morgan Bar. We’re already thinking up ideas for Christmas cocktails, oh the excitement! Here’s a few tips for a gorge Christmas from outfit ideas to hair care to table settings:
Do you want something sparkly and a bit different from the norm? Topshop have a few concession brands that you won’t see everyone else in town wearing like Loving Youth, they can have a few vintage sparkly tops that are all completely unique and very festive. TFNC have a few sparkly bits coming up to the festive season as well. Other good spots to try are vintage shops like Siopaella in Temple Bar, they can have some nice sparkly bits!
Have you seen the latest rep for Cover Girl? Get some oh-so-fab make up tips from this guy, he has some great tutorials for Halloween make-up and we absolutely love his eyeshadow looks 😍😍. Check out his YouTube channel http://bit.ly/2eoC6yC.
Contain yourself ladies, Cocoa Brown are releasing their Ice Goddess Shimmering Body Oil soon so you can get cutting edge cheekbones like Khloe K. Your cheekbones & decolletage will be on fleek for Christmas with a lovely, luminescent glow. Or you can simply add a few drops to your moisturiser for an overall body glow. The violet undertones in Ice Goddess Oil helps to lift and brighten dull skin which is defo more common in those winter months.
For gorgeous, glossy locks in winter try Kerastase’s “ciment anti-usure” collection. These products are amazeballs for keeping your hair in good condition or to repair hair with an anti-breakage effect. Kérastase are as old as the hills and have an excellent reputation for hair sublimation.

We took some inspo off Dolce and Gabbanas Via Montenapoleone event in Milan where they had a table setting featuring stunning candelabras, ivy leaves, grapes, pomegranates and bright and bold pink and red flowers. So pretty and something different to try for Christmas this year. A few scented candles also wouldn’t go a miss, try Yankee candle’s black cherry scent or their Christmas range for something more festive. Their little Christmas ranges make a great pressie too.
Layers and Knits all day er’ day
One thing we love about Christmas is wrapping up and it appears the big high streets names are picking up on this trend. H&M have their “Winter’s New Mood” look book consisting of a few nice layered looks. You don’t have to break the bank either as the prices are quite reasonable. Zara have some comfy, cuddly knits too that you’ll just never want to take off!
